On July 30, 11 experts from the Inspection Engineering Division and the Information Intelligence Division of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) came to the Automotive Engineering Research Institute to carry out research and exchange on technical requirements under the leadership of Zhou Jianwen, Deputy General Manager of the Inspection Engineering Division, Jin Yan, Deputy General Engineer, and Xiang Huarong, Minister of Comprehensive Department. A total of 12 teachers from the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering and the Automotive Engineering Research Institute participated in the research exchange. The event was held in Room 216 of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute and was chaired by Vice President Xu Xing.

The department heads and engineers of CAERI respectively introduced the general situation of CAERI, the business situation of the inspection engineering division, the business situation of the NVH technology center, the Liyang laboratory, and the business situation of the information intelligence division. Around the development needs of each department, the requirements of cooperative research and development technology, talent recruitment, and internship positions were issued on the spot.

He introduced the general situation of the automobile engineering research institute from the aspects of development history, teaching staff, talent training, discipline platform, scientific research direction, and research results, as well as the research results of the institute in intelligent chassis, power transmission, vibration and noise, power battery, and intelligent vehicle. In response to the technical and talent demand issued by enterprises, combined with the research direction of the institute, he hoped that the two sides would cooperate closely in the aspects of industry-university-research cooperation, platform construction, achievement transformation, school-enterprise joint talent training, and off-campus tutor team building.
