To ensure the smooth development of the laboratory work in the new semester, maintain the safety and stability of the environment of the research institute, and ensure the safe and orderly conduct of scientific research work, on the morning of August 31, Li Dan, Party Secretary of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute, President Jiang Haobin, Vice President Xu Xing, Laboratory Director Meng Xiangpeng and other teachers formed a safety inspection team to seriously carry out the laboratory safety hazard inspection work.

The inspection team checked the daily management of the laboratory, the implementation of the safety system, the safety precautions of the equipment, the storage management of hazardous chemicals, and the environmental sanitation. At the same time, Meng Xiangpeng, the director of the laboratory, reported the specific scheme of the battery laboratory transformation. During the inspection, it was found that the sanitary environment of some laboratories was poor and the equipment layout was unreasonable. In view of the above problems, the inspection group put forward rectification opinions, requiring the laboratory safety responsible persons and the relevant responsible teachers to attach great importance to the rectification.

Through this safety inspection, the safety situation of each laboratory in the college was comprehensively sorted out, and all kinds of safety hazards were investigated, which created a safe and harmonious experimental environment for the teachers and students of the whole college and provided a strong guarantee for the development of the research institute.
