In celebration of the 40th Teachers' Day and to promote the spirit of educators, strengthen the development of the teaching team in the new era, and provide education that satisfies the people, the Automotive Engineering Research Institute held a teacher symposium in Meeting Room 216. More than 20 people, including the institute's leadership and faculty representatives, attended the event, which was chaired by Party Secretary Dan Li.

At the meeting, Professor Haobin Jiang, a Jiangsu Province Teaching Excellence Award recipient and Zhenjiang City Model Teacher for Ethics, led the attendees in studying President Xi Jinping's important speech delivered at the National Education Conference. He shared his methods and strategies for guiding students, emphasizing that teaching is not only about disseminating knowledge and ideas but also about providing emotional support. He illustrated his points with specific examples from his experiences in mentoring students.

The participating teachers expressed that they were deeply moved by Dean Jiang's sharing and, in turn, reflected on their own experiences of interacting with students over the years. They expressed their commitment to continually improving their communication with students. Many noted that a teacher’s happiness is simple: it comes from students who are willing to share their achievements and daily stories, as well as offer greetings and blessings on special occasions.

Party Secretary Dan Li extended holiday greetings and sincere wishes to all the teachers, encouraging them to uphold the spirit of educators. She urged the faculty to hold themselves to the high standards of being a "teacher with ideals, moral integrity, solid knowledge, and a warm heart," to strengthen their faith and character, enhance their teaching capabilities, lead by example, and embrace responsibility. She emphasized the importance of nurturing innovative talents for the new era and urged teachers to stay aligned with the needs of the times.

After the meeting, the young teachers presented Professor Haobin Jiang with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.
