The first lecture of the "AERI Academic Lecture Hall" of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute was held on June 29th in the 224 lecture hall. Professor Chen Long, the leader of the Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering disciplines at Jiangsu University, was specially invited to give an academic lecture titled "Thinking and Practice on the Integration of Vehicle Road Collaboration and Intelligent Chassis Development". The lecture was presided over by Xu Xing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, and over 80 teachers and students listened to the report.

Professor Chen Long first raised several important questions: What role does the integration of vehicle road collaboration and intelligent chassis play in solving current and even future transportation related problems, in response to the current development of technology and the update of hardware equipment? Is the integration of vehicle road collaboration and intelligent chassis in line with the trend of social development? Subsequently, an introduction was made to vehicle road collaboration and intelligent chassis. Vehicle road collaboration can achieve efficient information exchange and coordination between vehicles, road infrastructure, and other traffic participants, in order to improve traffic efficiency and safety, bringing huge potential for the development of future smart city transportation systems. The integration of vehicle road collaboration and intelligent chassis is of great strategic significance for the development of intelligent connected vehicles in China.

Through this lecture, the majority of teachers and students have benefited greatly. They not only understand the content of vehicle road collaboration and intelligent chassis integration, but also learn how to think about problems and how to combine them with the development of the times and national strategies. In the future, the Automotive Engineering Research Institute will continue to carry out the "AERI Academic Lecture Hall" activity, providing a learning and exchange platform for teachers and students.
